YO GEORGIANS! :)

The kids and I sprouted leftover birdseed for the chickens last year. We were just so thrilled that WE grew beautiful green "grass"! I actually set some out in part of the yard that retains water and it helped with drainage too. Easiest thing to do for your birds.

Thank you very much! It took me so long but I kind of figured it would. I tried really hard not to let the OCD kick in but I am a stickler for detail. I am thrilled to have finished it. I've never built anything before. I'm also blessed with a husband who is quite patient and accommodating so he deserves credit in this. I'm pretty sure every time he looked at his CC balance, he was cringing (and sweating a little) but he has not expressed any regret. I love him to pieces.
Absolutely not. I cry about everything...

Katie, thanks for making me smile:)!

Hello, my name is Katie and I'm a 41 yo crybaby. (that's what I'd say at a crybabies anonymous meeting)
Thank you! They are farther apart and I have already started cutting pieces to fill the gaps. They are all large breeds but I feel that even though they are 1x2s that are only about 8" or less apart, there may need to be more. I also need to raise it a bit so the slope isn't so steep. That may eliminate the space issue but I will find out pretty soon. I'm glad I attached it with the hinge. I had a feeling I'd need to adjust that.
Thank you very much! I love impatiens too! My mom always had impatiens growing for as long as I can remember. I cannot live without them. They're a necessity for me. I have certain things that  I just can't live without, impatiens are one of them.

Hey Papa, we did see your post! My DH made some kind of growling sounds. LOL! I had seen that post before and thought the same as you did.......Wow, my DH thinks I have a lot of chickens?!?!?

What's for dinner tonight?
Who's cooking?
well, since you asked........and you KNEW I would have an answer by the way, LOL

last night, the dear lovely wife made a pot of green beans and potatoes. The green beans are the last of the frozen from our youngest daughters garden. She fried some bacon to use as seasoning, made a pan of cornbread and sliced a tomato.

So this afternoon, I grilled some chicken leg quarters and we had that and leftovers from last night. I hurted myself with all this good food!!!!!!!

add a good cold glass of sweet tea, hard to beat!

Looks delicious! I took out pork chops for dinner to go with the leftover crab fried rice! I guess you and I are the only cooks the others must be chicken! Lol!

Yum!! wait till my DH comes home and finds out we are having leftovers I just know he will be so thrilled, I keep hopeing he will fire me as his cook but so far I've been it for 20 years, think I have any chance of that happening, especially since I used to play a chef at Barnsley Gardens Resort here in Adairsville, no I don't cook like that all the time.

Oh NEWS FLASH you know I am amazed on a daily basis with these guineas, I watch them try and catch the flies in the pen, funny but they did catch a few.
