New additions...
Went to an auction and bought NOTHING.
Then went to Flowers house and added 2 beautiful Swedish Flowers and some chicks last night.
Then today I was given 4 hens by a lady in Rockmart who is moving from a house to an apartment.
The 4 hens laid 2 eggs today, even in the quarantine pen (4x4x4')

wait you came to Rockmart? you could have just about delivered the egg cartons from flower to me, LOL . We're getting ready to head that way

The Rockmart birds met me at the Ingles on 113 in Cartersville.

And the auction is in Trion.
We need to try to get a group from here to go together one week.
I'm planning on Oct 24. That is my next free Friday night.

Yipee! My naked Naked Neck is finally growing back her feathers! She molted in Feb and has been naked until now! She's been like this since Feb! Thought she was never going to grow back her feathers! Thought I was going to have to knit her a sweater for the winter! But here she is today! Feathers are growing! Yea!

Wow!!!!! She looked rough!!!! I am glad her feathers are coming back.

Today I finally clipped my EEs beak.. She is the only one that has ever had that problem. This is the second time I've had to clip it.

Hopefully, the slight cross bite will correct now that the beak is clipped.

I am still mourning the death of my sweet Daisy Mae. She was my 3 yr old White Silkie hen. My roo is now driving me nuts. I need to find my friend from Griffin that has Silkies and see if she has any Poults to keep my roo company! Russell is even pecking and biting me which is very unusual for him, because he is momma's baby The loss of Daisy has taken its toll on the whole family.
Please help!!
