YO GEORGIANS! :)

I got this egg from my white leghorn yesterday. I've been watching her this morning to make sure I didn't need to give her an ice pack to sit on. You see it compared to one of her normal eggs and in the carton with others. The pic doesn't do it justice really, as far as how big around it really is. I'm going to make sure we keep this one so I can see if I can make a '3 egg omelette' with just this one egg

Thank you all for the well wishes, DH is doing much better and moving better, and can go to the bathroom by himself and I actually took a much needed nap today. this is the first time he has ever had any type of surgery so needless to say what a shock to me and to him.

so the chicken didn't make it to the vet today called and I am taking him in tomorrow, they squeezed me. so when I know about his foot I will let you know.

Very glad to hear that DH is doing well.

I'm glad you DH is doing good. I didn't know he had had surgery. Just now catching up on a couple days posts. We have an upcoming festival that I've been trying to get ready for so very little pc time.

21 eggs went into lockdown today! Should have chicks by Friday/Saturday! Papa, the 2 BA that you gave me are included!

In my other bator, I started with 13 Lavender Ameraucana eggs (plus others) and so far, I have lost 7 of them! Blood rings or no development! So disappointed.......again! Those are shipped eggs. Those aren't due until Later Oct. and I suspect I will lose more of those because they have crazy saddle air sacks! Anyway, I just would be excited to get at least 2 females and one male of the Lav. AMs!

Hello Georgia,

I am about two miles from the Georgia line (Florida side). Am I still eligible for the Georgia thread?
