YO GEORGIANS! :)

So glad they made it home easy. Was great to meet Katsdar, looking forward to meeting you in the future.
I tried to pick out the ones that weren't molting yet, so you could get some eggs, but stress might send them there anyway.
I actually did get 4 eggs from your girls today! I would have thought the move would have upset them, but then the leghorns are about the best layers! Funny, I went out early this morning to check things, they were lined up inside their section of the run looking out, and all the others were lined up on their side looking IN!

I haven't gotten any blue eggs at all today, apparently they're more upset about the new girls then the new girls are about the new home!

Papa!! I would LOVE some Leghorn eggs to hatch! I'll buy them from you. Just let me know when you're ready to part with some.
well I'm keeping them separate for a few more days. Probably until about wed and then I'll let them mix. Not sure how long it will take to get things in order with them and my rooster, but I'll let you know. That one leghorn you hatched for me is still the biggest chick in the bunch.

Also, I'm going to give one or two of these to my daughters flock, they have the australorp rooster, and I told them today I would want some of those leghorn eggs to hatch to see what we get from the brown gene rooster and the white gene hens......hopefully some pink? that would be SOOOO coool
