well, I do hang out HERE a lot, so that must be accurateIt's the simple things in life that excite us these days, isn't it?
I can see that I guess. The random inspections was something I read in the information on the GA NPIP pageI guess to me, if most of the "quality" sellers seem to be certified (and they do), then it becomes something buyers look for (which I do).. Also, I want the peace of mind that my flock is healthy. Lots of diseases don't have any early signs. I'd feel awful if I had an outbreak of something and then had to let buyers know there's an issue. At least certification shows the forethought to at least check.
As for "random" inspections, I don't know anything about that. Any experiences from anyone here?
I personally think it's a decision each has to make for their self. I'm still goin over it in my head but most thoughts point to yes.
ok, so what's the big deal about NPIP? do you have to have that to be able to ship eggs, or you just want to be able to put that on your ads?
I've been doing some reading on it, nothing about it impresses me enough to want to have to open myself up for random inspections by anyone from any aspect of government.

Thought I'd share some recent pics of a couple of the chickens. Got no kiddos to show off, so chickens it will have to be. The EEs are growing up to be quite pretty little birds. Everyone knows how I feel about Mr. Stanley Roosterface, so he needs no introductions. The down side, they're iphone pics so kinda crappy resolution.![]()

I've always thought EEer make the prettiest roosters! So colorful!
Love your pictures. Beautiful roos. I am partial to Stanley -- see my avatar. My poor guy is no longer with us but remembered.
