Oh, and these Ameraucana roosters are great.
The black is about grown, the lavender is about 6 months, but I saw the parents of them all
She got them from Paul Smith, along with her wheaten and blue wheatens.
And she is local :)

Right now she has quite a few roos for sale, and I'm hoping to add chicks next year.
 
Does anyone have any experience with Stromberg's Hatchery?

Would prefer to buy from an individual, but a fella has RIR hens that are 8 weeks old from Strombergs and I am thinking that will be the best bet this time of year.

Seems like there were a lot of RIR listed on Craigs list lately.
 
Does anyone want to go in an order together? Hoping for around the January time frame. I'm looking to get about four Americaunas and four Australorps. I'm in Athens, GA. PM me if interested.

if you want the pure breds, then you want Ameraucanas. If all you're looking for is colored eggs, easter eggers will do just fine
