Believe it or not, I let them all go!! :idunno.. Feathersaloft has them now.. If I miss them too badly I'll have to get some eggs from her or Papa.. But I wanted another breed and the AM just didn't make my cut for whatever reason.

They are doing well here, although after being in the new coop for 2 weeks with no pen, then moved to the old pen when the blue roo wouldn't stop picking fights he couldn't win, they stopped laying for now.
But I've noticed them checking out the nest boxes, so hope to see more eggs soon.

My other birds have found THEIR new nestboxes, and we've gotten 4 eggs each of the last two days (compared to one or two a day the last week in the old pen) They get a lot more sun in the new pen, I'm thinking that may have something to do with it.
I have the 5 old Comets who are still partly in molt, and the 17 RIR that are 6 months old. Everything else is still immature (or a roo)

Aw man. We got an up-close look earlier at about 8-9 crows beating the snot out of a big old hawk at our friends' house! They were only about 20ft above us.. Super cool!

Wow it worked lol
Nice birds buddy. I will be looking for some Lavenders next spring.

Right now I'm waiting for full dark to tuck in the dozen young birds who can come OUT the door just fine, and go in during the daytime, but cannot figure it out at dark.
Oh, and catch and wing clip the black Ameraucana who flew the coop. There is always one!
