Does he really want to get rid of them? Maybe you could take them all and if you cant find homes for them, take them to the auction and sell them. Keep the money for your troubles. Poor babies. They would at least stand a chance if they were all free ranging. Can you call any authorities?
He wants to get rid of them, but the catch is he wants 5- 10 dollars each for them and guessing @ at least 10 birds or more and I don't have the room for them. Told them that they should take them to the auction which is every Friday night. But at the least he needs to give them water and feed, some are in the coop, some in the run and some free range ( which is how I ended up with one and how I saw this disgusting situation, it had to travel over @ 1000 Ft to get to my yard) Saw at least two and possibly more dead in the run. Trying not to have animosity or hard feeling with the neighbor, but no excuse for this.
