YO GEORGIANS! :)

So to update on the mystery guests, hubby says they were still here yesterday and said he got an up close look at them. He said, "they had a white stripe on their face and a puffy head."

So I showed him a pic of what I had thought they might be and he said, "that's them."

So I think they are Ruddy Ducks!

And oh how I WISH they would stay for breeding season. Look what the males look like!

..except they are apparently super-aggressive..

Beautiful! Where do they stay usually? GA?

Happy New Year everyone! I've been really busy lately and with all this rain, my chicken pen has needed extra cleaning. Because of the warm weather, two of my three chickens are still laying. At least I don't have to buy eggs!

Happy New Year! and ditto on the extreme amount of rain and chicken pen cleaning.

carcar ... we had a lone female ring-neck duck at the farm for a while. (This isn't my picture.)

One polish roo. 8 silkies, 3 are Roos and 5 are hens. So 9 total. I'm looking to get rid of at least 2 of the silkie Roos. You know of anyone that would be interested?
