YO GEORGIANS! :)

Both they have standard and bantam. Standard are more commonly found in Europe and china of course. B/c they originated in china haha.

Lol! The hubby told me I was definatly considered the crazy chicken lady in the family now. For liking a weird 5 toed blue/black skinned bird with a weird feather mutation haha. He's used to the ol'barn yard variety!

I def want to get me some more. They are adorable and WAY more sociable then my other chickens. Except my game babies. They try their best to takle me when I open their biddie coop door. They are all like MAMA!!!

I'm putting some white silkie eggs in the incubator Thursday and will be selling EE and pure white silkie chicks at the Tifton farmers market in 3 weeks. On the Saturday after they hatch so it will be the 27 of April when I sell them. Silkies will be close to $3 a chick, and the EE'S will be around $2 to $2.50 b/c of the coloring of the eggs. They will be straight run also. I usually have more girls than boys in my hatching.

Oh my. I love you I think haha jk. But you are 2 hrs from me. How many silkies you hatching out? I may buy them all from you or most of them. :)

You know it - game days are crazy. Plus I went to Clemson and we killed LSU in the Chick-fi-ABowl last New Year's Eve. I normally cheer for my kid's team except for when MY Tigers play. Won't pick a side Dawgs vs Tigers this fall. Let's just say it will be an awesome time!

Okay the coop is almost done I need to get my hen door to be able to install the ramp (my coop is off the ground). Given our odd schedules I think an automatic door would be the safest for our little flock. Any suggestions for a reasonable and efficient system?
