Saltandpepper2, I see in your signature that you were going to start raising Seabrights. I have an old friend who wants some golden ones so bad. Please tell me you have some pullets or hatching eggs! I would love to surprise him with some.

I need to change that.... Had a beautiful breeding flock, and the pullets died soon after hitting laying age.

I went and looked at the "Araucanas" at Ladds.
Yep, Easter Eggers, although very cute.
All are chipmunk striped. Yes, they have rumps and no tufts, although they do have cute little fluffy chins :)
I would love to get one, just to see what they grow up looking like, but I don't have any that age. Maybe after my babies hatch Monday/Tuesday


So far they have Jersey Giants, RIR, Buff Orps at $4 each and Red Stars at $4.50.
All pullets.

I'm waiting for March 3 when the Cuckoo Marans arrive.

I'm thinking Cuckoo Marans are barred, so if I crossed those hens with a solid Ameraucana they would be sex linked?
Could be a useful idea.

We are adding new panels to my Juvenile pen and will be trying to raise some birds to sell as started pullets.
Not quite sure what, probably RIR for the most part.

But this morning when I looked at my incubator, the temp was a bit high, about 103. First time it has varied.

Yep, that's how I got the chicks you got from me.. Blue AM roo over BR hen. By the way how did any of those turn out? Do you still have any?
 
I totally understand how shipping works our plants worked the same way your employees need to be able to explain that to customers if this were the first experience with this store I could over look the experience to one employee however it was not . I wish we had folks like you at this store.This is not just my opinion I have even done surveys no one ever followed up .I agree with Gam bad management.
