YO GEORGIANS! :)

My Ibizan hounds were $1,500 each, but I actually know the breeder really well and she didn't make a dime on them. (One of the two actually COST her an additional $4,000)
The IH was so interesting to me when watching the show. I realize they are extremely slender dogs but THAT one was incredibly emmaciated looking. Did you happen to see it? She was young, but I've never seen hip bones like that, even when my Dobe was young and had a hard time bulking up..

I missed the Ibizan hounds, but a lot of time young hounds go through a skinny phase, more so when they're still intact. My boys eat 8-12 cups of food a day and still look like they could stand to gain 5lb! It's quite a struggle.
Some of it has to do with muscle coverage, too. The more they're exercised, the better they look. I noticed a lot of dogs only had show titles, no coursing titles, so they may not be actually working the dogs the way they need to be worked. Less work = less muscle = skinnier looking dog.

Holland Fertilizer and Cedartown Seed and Feed. I usually get my feed from Holland. I just sent ms carcar a pic of the tag/info on some GMO feed they get from Tucker Milling over in Huntsville AL I think it is
I've been using the Tucker milling non-gmo layer and starter for about 6 months now. The birds eat it. It's not too much more than regular feed. I think I pay $14-15 per bag for it. However, the starter seems to have a lot more fines & dust that older birds won't eat.

I agree, Tucker Millimg starter is what I got from Elrod's and while it's okay, it does seem awful "dusty".. Almost like it's TOO finely crumbled. I couldn't put my finger on it til now!

Anyone that has any interest in Broad Breasted White turkeys ... shoot me a PM with the number of poults that you would be interested in. (Don't worry about hitting minimum order ... we've got that covered.) I'm just wanting to get an idea of how many total we are looking at. I am not placing the order yet ... just getting things worked out. Each poult will be $9.12. Shipping is free. They are from Welp Hatchery.

Called and left a message for NPIP testing.. @rossfam06 the number for here did end up being different so now we have two area contacts. :) Anyway, the lady here is out of the office til Monday
