:oops: I been too busy laying around bitching about my elbows for weeks & weeks. I suppose that's why I missed it. And being too ADHD to catch up on posts. LOL Y'all are some busy, chatty folks! I don't read as fast as I talk.

I won't be going anywhere this weekend according to my DH. He called to tell me I need to pick him up in Atl after his shift ends. Apparently, our crappy Hyundai won't start sunddenly so he's stranded in the city. He'll be taking the truck. Saves me from spending money on chickens that I have no place for. So, that works out well.

Please know, that I was absolutely in no way at all trying to fish for a ride from anyone, I promise. I literally picked up my phone to call DH and tell him about the show, and saw the missed call.

The PO finally found the chicks over in Gainsville. They sent one of their employees all the way over there just to pick them up for me! They are all ok....thirsty and hunger, but all look good. I gave them some Sav-a-chick Electrolytes. They are so cute! Papa Chaz drove 2 hours to meet me in Ellijay to get his 5 Welsummers. Got lots of different breeds for different people! One guy asked me to pick out any 7 chicks for him! Fun to do, I chose 7 different breeds to have lots of different colored eggs. He didn't really want ordinary breeds, either, so I got him a Delaware (brown eggs), a Speckled vssex (pinkish eggs), a White crested blue Polish (white eggs), two easter eggers (for blue/green eggs), a Salmon Faverolle (just because they are so stinking cute!), and a SWL (another brown egg). I meant to get him a Welsummer for terra cotta colored eggs, but didn't order enough. Box full of chicks! Look at the cheeks on this EE!

I'm so glad they're OK! They all look so cute and fluffy. :)
 
we made it home safe and sound, immediately taught the girls to drink from the water nipples and they took to it very fast. needless to say they were HAPPY HAPPY to get out of a box and have some room to run around! I sent my dear wife this pic, and there are two that look black and white and she told me Flower was trying to pass off a couple of skunks....bahahaha









so fun to watch them run, and suddenly realize how tired they are and plop right down!

Thanks again Flower for letting me get in on the order! nice to see you again today.

oh, I got about halfway home and realized I forgot to mention the styrofoam steak containers :)
