YO GEORGIANS! :)

I have 6 in my incubator.  What is with the Ugh?  Did something happen to yours?

Hatching. Not having good luck with shipped duck eggs. Had a duckling pip early and die on me. :/ They all have real large saddled air cells.

The eggs look odd. Like they aren't alive can't see movement ect. But they still have heat. One duckling pipped early internally on day 24 which is today and started to zip and then died. All vent plugs are open and humidity is in the 60's ( dry incubation method.) jusy bad luck i reckon. Not to mention the air cells are saddled bad. :/

My duck eggs have saddled air cells too. I worry about them. I think when it is hatch time, I will try putting them in an egg carton with the largest air sacs area facing up. I heard there is not much that can be done. Yea, it is caused by bad shipping. I hope I get as least 2! Do you have any eggs yet to hatch?

Had one start too early and pass hoping to have some by friday.

:( my two babies are ticking me off lol. They put themselves to bed one night just to mess with me I think because I have had to wangle them up and put their little feathered behinds in the coop just making the door closing or through my door because the door  auto shut for the night. You ctell they don't like it in the dark (they make a heck of a noise) so why don't they get in their coop? We checked no boogie things in there to scare them. They like their roosts now that I gave them a training ladder to reach it. I swear they are like m kids when little and just fight going to bed. They make a bunch of noise at first in their coop but quickly settle down on their roosts for the night. You can tell they don't like it in the dark (they make a heck of a noise) so why don't they get in their coop?  Also how much ACV should I add to their 5 gallon water system (nipple type)?

Haha! They sound like little stinkers!!

Isn't it 1 tablespoon per gallon? Or is it per cup? Blast. I have to go look now.

The per Gallon sounds right but please let me know when you find out how much ACV to H20.Thanks . I swear is it possible to have spoiled your chickens. They do remind me of little feathered toddlers at time with the way they act. They know Mama for sure because when they hear see me they come to me.

The general consensus is 1Tbl spoon per gallon, some use more some less, but usually averages 1 Tbl spoon between them.
