I use a 2 Qt soda container, cut @1/3 of the top off, put fly bait, molasses or something that will attract fly in the bottom, invert the top (small end into bottle) punch or drill small hole on both sides of bottle, which holds the inverted top and also work to tie or put wire on to hang it. Mine hangs on the outside of my run. Can make several. The fly will fly into the bottle and with the small opening inside the bottle they cannot get out. Prefect fly catcher.

Sorry for your loss, maybe the neighbors should be told and just maybe they have some remorse and offer some reimbursement
 
Had a great time at the Trion auction.
Took 5 roosters to sell and ALMOST didn't buy, but they had Ringneck Pheasant hatching eggs for 35 cents each.
I got all 11 and will put half under a broody and half in an incubator.
Also got 5 silkie chicks for $2 each. Chicks are much easier to quarantine. :)
 
Four of my bantam eggs, that I placed under my broody hatched. Checked on them yesterday off and on all day and momma and chicks were fine. Checked last night and one is MIA and cannot locate anywhere, and one looks like one of the hens pecked its head real bad. So anyway separated the three from momma, she did not like and moved them into my kitchen. Still have two broody sitting on five more eggs. Its now where or what will I do with these chickens, as of right now do not have room / space for them All are active and eating so time will tell.

If anyone really wanted the coop I put up, ya need to come get it. We will likely burn it today or tomorrow if not. :)
