YO GEORGIANS! :)

Her mom taught her to eat eggs. She was always bringing deer carcasses and dead things to feed the puppies. You know, better than dog food apparently. So she also started collecting eggs of the free ranging chickens the great pyrs were guarding and feeding her puppies eggs too. We get so many eggs we can't eat them all. We try to keep her inside or on a chain while the chickens are laying. She always gets a few of the stragglers eggs. My EE hen that lays solid blue eggs won't lay in a nest box. She lays under a big dog fennel by the fence at the back of the yard. I'm trying to raise some babies from her. So I don't want the dog easter egg hunting and eating my EE eggs. I was hoping just straight up feeding her the eggs I don't intend to eat or hatch out... she wouldn't bother to go eat the eggs I want to collect.

Your right it has been quiet. The one turkey I got from them is a Tom and he is trying to be boyish so funny and his beard is coming in, too bad he will go to freezer camp. He is a broad breasted so he isn't one that can just live and be a turkey.

I am having an oak tree taken down this weekend so if any of you want any fire wood let me know and I will save some for you, for when you can come and get it.

Yeah, I haven't noticed them online in a while. Really hope they're OK. Summer vacation maybe?
They're around. Just pretending to have a life, apparently.
