Nankin chicks four are going on 4 weeks old and one just a week old.

we found out yesterday, and confirmed today by the doctor visit, that our oldest daughter is gone broody! Gonna be Papa again early next year, you know since it takes women just a bit longer than 21 days...........

I'm hanging out at the pole barn with my cat and these kids... Which equals about 1/10 of what's hanging on the rest of the rafters.

Since there are so many of them they can't all get away in time.. So they go statue mode instead and scatter one at a time when they see an opening.
