don't go making the Paymaster mad now, I'll have help cooking for the get together next year! only his BBQ will probably blow mine away. I know the Paymaster from a couple of cooking forums, and a facebook group or two.....
You know ... y'all are welcome to cook for us any time you like.

@GAMarans how are your turkey's doing? The one I picked up at the BBQ that we thought was a boy, sure is, his beard has started to grow!!!

Had a few issues with a resident raccoon. No more raccoon so the turkeys that remain are doing great.
Hey Robo and GAM, are you guys ok? Miss you!

I'm great. Robo has never been ok.
Your right it has been quiet. The one turkey I got from them is a Tom and he is trying to be boyish so funny and his beard is coming in, too bad he will go to freezer camp. He is a broad breasted so he isn't one that can just live and be a turkey.

I am having an oak tree taken down this weekend so if any of you want any fire wood let me know and I will save some for you, for when you can come and get it.

BB Turkeys don't automatically have zero chance of living. We had 2 hens that were doing great, living the free-range life. Just so happened that they were named "Thanksgiving" and "Christmas" when we got them.

They're around. Just pretending to have a life, apparently.

Just trying to help the boy child deal with his slave-driver foreman at work.

I'm hanging out at the pole barn with my cat and these kids... Which equals about 1/10 of what's hanging on the rest of the rafters.

Ohhh the war is a brewing.. They have NO idea..

Whoa dude!! I thought we had a mouse issue here with them getting in our house, but nothing like this!! Let the massacre begin...

Just got asked by my neighbor if I wanted to unload any or all of my chickens, seems his son bought some property and id interested in having chickens. Have to take this thought very serious, as it may be time to downsize. Not sure about my Nankin chicks, but will soon need to consider a home for some of them. The other half wants to be able to take a vacation of more then a weekend and making this offer to be considered.

Amen. It's a lot to ask someone to come take care of multiple pens while on vacation. That's another reason I'm cutting back too. I've grown weary.

I was thinking about that as I passed this guy up the road. He has probably 50 separate 'A' framed cages with a single game bird in each one. I can't even stand to think about having to go to each separate cage to water and feed them! Ugh!

Renters just left. They did not eat their free eggs. I asked why they didn't eat them and she said because they weren't pasteurized. I finally looked this up as I had never heard of it before. It says that it is a process where they use a low heat technique that kills bacteria in the egg. It is mostly for people who want to eat raw or undercooked eggs. Interesting.
