YO GEORGIANS! :)

Did I tell you I may get this rooster? It's called a 'cooper' Brahma. A lady developed it.

Very handsome. What genetics are in play with that coloration?

Snow is still on the ground. Here is a different view of the house from across the lake. Renters are suppose to leave today, but our drive way is really icy. We will see if they can get out! This group was from Florida, so they had a good snow experience!

Morning Georgiachick86,

I live in a small town called Woodbury; due West from where you are, I think, I'm just trying to meet the other "Chicken-People" in this part of the State.
I have Welsummers and Welbars . I live way out in the country and would like to hear more about your chickens when you have time.

Where will the Newnan show be held...............I'd like to go for sure.

Newnan show is always the third weekend in Feb. (the 18-19 this year). All the BYC people wear name tags so we can recognize each other. They have chicken and egg Judging, vendors, auctions and raffles! They have lots of critters for sale from everywhere. Lots of fun! Google for directions.
