I'd like to see you hatch 1368 quail eggs. That would be a hoot!!!
That sounds like tortureIf you don't get better soon you might need to go to a CAR (Chicken Addiction Rehabilitation). I hear they have a 28 day
program where they start you out on large incubators and by the 28th day you should be down to one that only holds 3 eggs!
I'm not sure if it is covered by most insurances though???
Only 3 eggs? That's like giving a recovering alcoholic only a sip of beer. Cold turkey is the only cure. lol
You can't go cold turkey you'll wanna hatch them eggs too!!
I had them sitting on the edge and then ran a piece of tape to hold them in place, lolLoaded incubators? Been here, done that. I've had to double stack eggs in the cabinet before.
"1368 Quail Eggs, 354 pheasant eggs, 270 chicken eggs, 198 turkey or duck eggs, and 36-45 larger eggs such as goose, peafowl, and emu. Actual capacity may depend on egg size." ... Ha! Don't try to limit me, GQF!![]()
Hi y'all! I am trying to find information about obtaining an egg candling certification. I checked the state dept of ag site and found a couple of candling classes on the calendar for April & May in north GA, but that's more than a three-hour drive for me. I also called my local extension office who told me to call a different office. The person in the second office is out of the office for a few days, so I left a voicemail and will hopefully hear back soon, but I decided to ask y'all in case anyone has knowledge of the process. Does anyone know of classes/testing located in middle or southeast GA? Thanks!!
As long as you don't double-dog dare me I'm ok.

hahahaha!
So, I put my eggs in lockdown. Started with 95 eggs. Took all the infertile ones out and there were some that were early quitters. Ended up with 67 eggs. That's sad, but that's why I extra loaded it. AND, that's why the lady I got some eggs from are replacing the ones from her! Anyway, now the wait is on....
Oh, and BTW, a couple came by while I was at the store and bought all 10 babies from my broody. She is quite sad! But, that gives me more room for new babies!
