YO GEORGIANS! :)

I have a scissor beak, too. It's that awful looking Polish pullet that a friend got from Ace Hardware for me...gee, thanks!!!! Just got out of Dr. appt with my son and now home to tend the chickens and work on leveling my coop floor which will take at least 4 more loads of dirt. I was outside for 2 minutes--TOPS--and I found a tick crawling up my back! WHAT IN THE WORLD?! These lone star ticks are terrifying me---I cannot afford to suddenly be allergic to steak!
LMAO! Pulled one off kb this morning. I'm headed home now to finish putting down the floor in my new coop, and repairing the rust holes...it's getting close to being done...awning, fencing and paint left!

I don't mind a good snake, as long as it stays away from my chickens. But a poisonous snake is dead.
I guess whether or not there is such a thing as a "good" snake depends on several things, but as far as I am concerned, they all; every one of them, will hurt you; they either can bite you or either they will scare the ____ out of you. My response is if you like'em that's OK but I terminate them ALL! But that's just me....

As long as you know the potential for legal issues when killing the non-venomous ones ... and let us not forget that some of the non-venomous ones can keep the venomous ones at bay.

ok. You all know our home is used for a vacation rental. Well, this group of renters left today, and they almost take the cake......I mean, I found that they apparently defrosted their chicken under the kitchen cabinet! I opened it and found stinky, sticky, bacteria laden chicken blood all over in there! And, no, the trash can is not in there! I mean, who does that? I have to say that this is the 4th group who has done this!!! The trash in every bathroom was so full and they kept adding to it until there was literally a ring of trash around full cans.....nasty Kleenexes, diapers, etc....all over the floor! In every bathroom! But, the worse of all, was that someone actually left their dirty bathtub water in the tub!!!! I mean, really????!!! Gross!

Omg. That is AWFUL. I just can't believe it. Of course I live in fear that I'll get charged for something if I don't follow the rental contract to the letter. I hate that you're having to call in hazmat on your own home. :hugs
