Hey all, starting to really plan for the birds of my first flock. I've got all the breeds in my checkout basket at My Pet Chicken that will ship on 4/9. Haven't hit the buy button yet though. A tad later than I was hoping for but it is what it is. I'm looking for someone in GA (preferably N. GA) that will have Speckled Sussex pullets available on or very close to that dates.

I have also posted this over on the 1 day to 8 week chick forum.

I work for country/ feed Store in Blue Ridge. We sell baby chicks starting early March. We sold the breed you mentioned last year. We may have them this year.

I'm selling.most of.my Silkies I live in Augusta area. I have several roos and a few hens. In the process of evaluating prices. My pet quality are $15.00 each I have 3 the others are.better.quality and will sell for 25.00 each. I don't ship you would have to come.get.them. I have several frizzle satin silkies and another few are chicks. I will have pics soon for the ones.for sale. If you look back on this thread you will see some of them.

Can't believe it took me so long to find this thread. I'm from Cleveland, GA. I just like to have 4 or 5 free-range hens for eggs, bug eating, and general amusement. I've had flocks of Jersey Giants, Golden Comets and ISA Browns. Currently, I don't have any but I'm using the time to renovate my coops. I'm looking forward to getting some egg laying foragers soon!
