So, the bear got some of my chickens this week. Was trying to find some replacement Welsummers. I guess I may end up ordering some from Myers Hatchery. Anyone in my area want to go in with me and order chickens? It doesn't have to be Welsummers, they have a bunch of different breeds, but it looks like there is a $38 dollar minimum shipping fee. Might as well get a bunch for the same fee! Let me know asap. PM me. Dawsonville/Ellijay/Amicalola Falls area in North GA.
 
Im in Cartersville ga. Im looking for some eggs so I can incubate one more batch and have them about feathered before cold weather gets here. My Marans hatch this month was disappointing. I would like either some Buff Orpington, Australorp, speckled Sussex, maybe others just let me know. Might be interested in few Buff hens as I have a nice roo but no hens to go with him. Close to Cartersville preferred. Thanks.
 
I am only 15 minutes from Cartersville GA but I don't have my flock all grown and seperated out how I want it. It will probably be next spring before I am in full swing. I have lots and lots of duck and chicken eggs but I don't have them in breeders cages yet so the chicks might be mixed right now. I just wanted to say hi because we are very close to one another and by next spring I will have all the breeds you are asking about seperated and laying.

What kind of ducks do you have? I have one female Runner Duck. Lost the male last week to a predator. Have just set 20 more Runner Duck eggs tonight. (2 had detached air sacs so they are probably no goers). Was looking for another RD drake as it will take months for me to get one old enough to be any company for this lonely female!

Sounds good. Stay in touch and maybe we can do some swapping sometime. My plan also is to have a good flock going by spring. I have 3 RIR hens now and 7 RIR chicks just hatched, 8 Marans chicks just hatched, 1 easter egger hen roo and 1 Buff roo. Im regretting selling all my EE chicks this week now since my Marans hatch did not go so well. But with what I have now I should be ok by spring plus I think I will try one more hatch in August if I can get some eggs I want soon.

Hi I'm looking for some silkies around southwest ga (Albany ,Dawson ,leesburg etc) any age but prefer laying if your close and have any for sale let me know thanks
