YO GEORGIANS! :)

Wish there was someone in my neck of the woods on this thread. I think So. Augusta area is hiding somewhere because the chicks at TSC always sell out. Ducks too. Is anybody out there around here?

If anyone is out there I need some help in figuring out the best way to ship adult birds please. I have never shipped birds before and would like to know the type of boxes you use and what to put in them with the birds. Do you have to have a permit of some kind to ship as.well?

Well you can do a quick google search “large bird shipping boxes” and find them. You put a little tractor supply shaving on the botton (no hay.) then feed feed feed the birds and add watery food (fruit) it that goo stuff that they ship chicks with. You don’t need a permit, just go down to the USPS with the birds in the box.

I personal would not do it. The boxes cost a lot then the shipping will cost a lot. I had to pay over $100 to get my shipped to me but they were massive Brahmas.
