Hey there. I'm in Ballground/jasper, GA. No pretty breed chickens here. Just some Rhode Island Red / Black Cooper Maran crosses. 5 roo's, 16-20 (they are free-range and hard to keep track of! Please let the rain stop so we can finish their coop and run!) hens, and 5 outside, gender unknown chicks and 1 little 2 1/2 week old inside chicken.

Hey to both of you! Yes, we sometimes get nice pretty dark brown eggs but mostly from the older hens. Some of the younger ones lay paler eggs though.

And pickens county for me as well, ohju! Right on Four Mile Church off of 53.
