Ooo fancy! We don’t go to that level of building a coop. We go kinda basic. Although now that we are getting Jersey Giants we may look into building a sturdy, permanent coop for them.

Figured I had nothing else better to do lol, build one that will last.

I think all total i’ll have about 600 total in it, including fencing in the run with welded wire. More then I wanted to have in it by far.

I would like to start over but I’m attached to my “misfit toys”.

I would get rid of my SLW , OE , current Brahmas

I would like to have Biels , quality Brahmas and CCL or Ameraucanas.

I kinda wanna start a blueprint for a permanent coop for two of my roosters. I feel they get along without hens so maybe if I give them a bunch of hens they’ll be able to get along even with hens.
Don’t know how I feel about making a coop right now that I need to make a turkey roost and guinea roost and goat enclosure.
Chicken coop will just have to wait.

Aww it’s completely understandable.
I have some roosters that are meant for food and I am trying not to visit them too much because it will make it harder to process them.
Did one of the fb groups work then?

I too want to start over but I love my current hens so much that I think I will just wait til they’re 3 years old before processing them. I am moving more toward dual purpose than egg colors and pretty looks.
