YO GEORGIANS! :)

From what I have read, they need a water container that they can actually dunk their head in, but otherwise no. I have two buckets I use alternately for carrying chicken feed, and figured the shorter, wider one could easily be a goose water bucket.

I am almost positive I have something they could use. Heeheehee. I bet they'd look pretty running around with the ducks and the chickens.

Exactly. I'll have to see what I get from the eggs she sends me, but if I have extras, I might send a couple of them to your place, lol!

Just joined up- add me too!!

Hi and
welcome-byc.gif

walked outside yesterday, and couldnt find a little ameraucana bantam hen of mine. i looked and looked, and thought i would check a little area where another bantam hen had a nest(they always relocate their nests when i remove their eggs) and i found her sitting on eggs, 11 to be exact. must have just started sitting this past weekend. debating on whether i want to take her eggs away and incubate or let her stay on them. i want to keep her with her rooster, and also put a black tailed white japanese bantam hen in there with them as well, and see what i get between the two.

What did you decide? Either way, hope you get some real cuties in a couple weeks!

i guess im going to leave them with her. when they hatch, ill do something then. its so early in the year i can always get eggs from her again before it gets too hot.

That's true. But then again, with our weather it may be too hot next week!

Good Morning all! Never drank coffee in my life-couldn't stomach the smell hence it never made it to my lips to taste! I'm a true hot chocolate gal! I made a quick dart outside to check waterers and such but have to bundle more to stay out there long. I have a feeling it's going to be a long, cold day.
