How do y'all think these birds will fair in a show? I need to get better picture of them and the others.
 
I have 2 Australorp, 1 Rhode Island Red and 1 mutt, but I have been wanting to increase my flock for some time and I don't know where to get the breeds that I want from. I thought about ordering them off-line, but I didn't know how they would survive the delivery. Have you ever ordered any of your chickens offline?

I've only been raising chickens for a year now and haven't ordered any yet but I am considering it this year. I have read lots of others having great success with ordering from online hatcheries. Cackle Hatchery has great reviews on their shipments. I am going to try them when I order. There are a number of Georgians on here that may have what you are looking for. Just jump in and ask- they may be in driving distance to you. I haven't purchased from any of them but I trust them to have great birds. Hope this helps you get started. I can't wait to watch your flock grow-chicken math will get you. I started with 8 adopted chickens- I now have 35 and building coops to get more!
