YO GEORGIANS! :)

New here! We are in the Thomson area and after ordering a coop (We know we will have to upgrade it to make it suitable) we went to the tractor supply and got 6 chicks (minimum purchase they said), 3 listed as silver lace (I think) and then 3 black ones. No idea what kinds. I am trying to find 2 of them homes, any ideas the best way to do this? We would like to get 2 different kind of chickens for this flock if that makes any sense. LOL

If they're still babies, people on Craigslist will snatch them up quick!

Well poo. Came home and checked my bator and it's been riding freakin' 98* all day I guess. Ugh. I know it's better than too hot. Remind me it's only gonna delay my hatch?

In other news, I'm about to candle the snot outta these things. I'm using hubby's spotlight and a big (vented, of course) box.

Silkies ... Pekins ... Mallards ... all looking good. (Well, one Silkie egg has the red ring of death but the others are looking fantabulous!)

I'm sure the Marans are doing great, too ... they always do.

And the big ole alien is settling in well. LOVE her noises.

OMG. Our spotlight was completely dead so now I had to plug it in.

Longest. Wait. Ever. Waiting for it to charge enough to just come ON..
