My husband can NOT join -ever. How on earth would I ever sneak more critters into the farm if he was privy to all the plotting and scheming?! I let him play his computer games, and he doesn't ask too many questions about birds and beasts -that's the way I like it :)

I do not vaccinate, or use medicated feed or chemical pesticides, but I know some others do. I choose not to for specific personal health issues, because my animals are dual -purpose (meat/eggs) and I don't want to ingest anything.Don't get me wrong, I'm not a strict "no vaccines" kind of person; I have pet dogs and a cat who receive vaccines and medications when neccessary, but not in excess. The vaccine is available through poultry supply catalogs/websites.
