My new babies are not too thrilled with bing held yet but love it when I just leave my hand down in their brooder for them to snuggle and walk on :)

Oh they are so cute! Look at those little wing feathers, so sweet! What breeds?
 
Me 2. It's a good thing that I had my cochin bantam and silkie in my little portable coop up close to the house. They have chicks.
 
Both of them? I was thinking the brown one was, but the yellow one is too? My babies that I just hatched on friday/saturday looked just like them but they were bantams. We lost the brown one :(
 
I got them from my local feed store Boss Brothers in Loganville. The woman seemed to know her stuff. She said these were from Ideal in Texas. By the time I rolled in they only had 3 of these and a lot like my dark girl and some lighter chipmunks. She had RIRs Astralorps, Wyans and Orps. I had to keep reminding myself I have one of each of those and two silkies coming Mother's Day week. These will be ready to go out to the coop when the new ones come in. I'll have to do a bit of watchful separation in the coop when I introduce the new batch.
