I have 3 Orpingtons and 9 Amer./ Brahma mixes locked down due anytime now. Not that I'm counting before they hatch. This weekend I lockdown 9 Blue/Buff/Golden Laced Brahmas. Then 2 Wheaten Amer. Still not counting them because they haven't hatched.
I'm not adding them up. I don't want to know. As you can see they all have names and are all loved. I'm trying to convince my kids to part with some of the big girls (they are only a year old and are wonderful layers) but they have yet to agree. They have agreed to part with a few of the roos and keep some that they really like. Having all of these chickens is hard when my husband doesn't understand all of the chicken craziness and why the kids and I are so protective over them.
