What kind of roosters are they? People normally won't pay $25 for a rooster unless its a rare/show bird.

He's not show. Unless we're talking about him showing off for the ladies;). He's just a big beautiful Australorp. But you're right about the price. I have no clue. Would $10 or $15 sound more like it? I don't usually sell my birds. When I know that they are gaping to good homes, I just let them have them. I know the daughter of the person getting them. The daughter told me that he's one that has to know a price. He's not just one that will 'take' him. I know he's going to a good home with other chickens.

Got silkies suppose to hatch tomorrow. then wellsummers then sizzle silkies then wheaten blue wheaten ams then salmon favs. equals becky goin to get me to build more pens.

Look on the heritage RIR thread a few pages back.A lady near Savannah has some Rosecomb Red Largefowl she is wanting to sale.

I know, Savannah is a little too far for me to drive for a chicken. I'm going to try to make it to the Cairo buy swap thing to get some more sultans. I'll look for some there I reckon.
 
Hi y'all looking for help sexing my new Welsummers. I thought it would be easy based on their head arrows and eye liner, but I'm have trouble. I ordered 2 girls and a Roo. The Rooster is for my DH who has been so very patient and supportive, he has wanted one (a man thing, I think it bothered him being out numbered lol). Anyway these shots were taken last night at one day old.
