That's what I was thinking. I was going to sell the roos big roo for $25. The younger mixes for $10. My hens are all pure breeds. I will probably ask $20. They are all very healthy and big with beautiful feathers. I may ask more for the ones that I want to keep but will part with if the price is right.
What kind of roosters are they? People normally won't pay $25 for a rooster unless its a rare/show bird.
. He's just a big beautiful Australorp. But you're right about the price. I have no clue. Would $10 or $15 sound more like it? I don't usually sell my birds. When I know that they are gaping to good homes, I just let them have them. I know the daughter of the person getting them. The daughter told me that he's one that has to know a price. He's not just one that will 'take' him. I know he's going to a good home with other chickens.
