YO GEORGIANS! :)

The hen killer, before being transported for relocation.

I would have been just as happy if animal control had put him down. But they don't. They only relocate possums. He was really good at snarling and looking mean, but possums actually almost never bite when threatened. And he was less than half the size of the last one I caught, so I knew he was just a baby too. But he killed my da** favorite hen, so he had to get the heck away from my property.

Thanks, but I have to admit, this was only my favorite hen AFTER I lost my last two buff polish hens. The buff polish hens were the ones I cried over. They were actually the only chickens I have ever lost, that I cried over.

But I've got three more buff polish coming this April, along with three silver polish pullets.

Cool, I hope you will love them as much as your first ones!

I was pretty upset over losing my SLW roo- still have one of his tail feathers from the yard where he fought his last fight.. I know, lol. But my favorite has always been my Olive. It was like Christmas morning, finding her safe in the laying box after everyone else was killed.. SHE's the one I think I might shed tears over. In fact I had a bad dream about her last night and was crying in the dream- LMBO!!

I am also getting some SLWs this April from McMurray. But they will all be pullets. I don't own a roo, just want some more decent layers, and love the silver pattern. Silver-laced wyandottes, silver-laced polish, silver-laced cochins, and silver sebrights....

Yeah, I think my bias to the silver pattern is obvious, lol
