Bumping. Very important questions here guys.. MUY importante!!

I have a turner in mine ... just put the thermometer on the turner to get the reading at egg level ... mine are still air, too.

Well.. I'm turner-less, but I don't guess a carton would raise them any more than a turner?

Do you measure temp at screen level? Mine is a steady 99.5 at the screen. I don't like to measure two different places bc then I become terribly distressed. LOL

Edit: WOW. Nevermind lol. What DO you keep your temp at at that level then?

I have little box-looking thermometers. I put them right on the turner racks with the eggs. I lay them on their backs, facing up.

Okay. So I think i will use a cut-down carton. That will make turning easier. And I'll figure out how to get my therm. At egg level with that set-up.

So the two remaining questions (and then I'll hush for now) are..

Fill the trays now?
And at that level do you still shoot for 99.5?
