YO GEORGIANS! :)

Wow! I think I had noticed that before.. I'd see a certain pic in the ad that I KNEW I'd seen before (like, in a general google search of a breed).. Just never dug too deep. But it was enough to scare me off.

Google actually has a really cool feature dealing with photos. You can actually drag a photo from a folder on your computer into the Google search bar, and it will look for pictures that are "visually similar" to that one. If it matches a certain term or terms, it'll pull them up. For example, if you drag a photo of Martha Stewart onto the search bar, it will perform a Google Search for the name "Martha Stewart". So if you see a chicken and want to know it's breed, you can try that.

My new TSC baby. He is supposed to be GLW, but none of them looked like they had ANY gold in there, all just silver. So he may be a SLW.

And I'm referring to the black one in the middle with the pinkish/yellow comb. If feather-sexing holds true, it's a boy. So HOPEFULLY a SLW cockerel to go with my incoming SLW pullets from McMurray.

The yellow chicks are my Leghorn mixes, and the black and brown chicks on the other side of him are an EE and a Sumatra.

@ChristyinGA About those red rangers - do you know how well they do in a confined space? For my meat birds, I wanted to use a chicken tractor so they could forage on grass before butchering.

Nice! I didn't know that. Thanks!

Ok, that's it! I'm going to join the GA thread because the SC thread is dead. I'm only minutes from savannah anyway.

So hi from SC. I have only four girls (so far). A Delaware, a light and a buff brahma, and a RIR or NH. Got them from Meyer in sept and got my first egg yesterday, plus two more today. Woohoo!!
