YO GEORGIANS! :)

Okay, seriously..

Do your chickens leave your yard when they free range? If not animal control actually can't do anything. As long as the chickens stay on your property, they are considered to be under your control.

You're not right.....

Well, I'm not about animal abuse. But this neighbor is beginning to be a serious *** about it, and the dog clearly isn't going to stop on its own. The neighbor is playing that game of "let me get YOU in trouble first now, so they won't see MY shortcomings"

And remember. Good friends will comfort you when you feel down and out. GREAT friends will help you plot revenge!

Yep, we are a pretty chatty bunch :). I got back from TSC with my six fancy "pullet" chicks (EE's) and the new incubator, and get this: my computer geek, mostly-clue-less-about-critters husband actually GOT OFF THE COMPUTER to come gawk at them! He even held two :). I told him I was going to get the incubator, but he didn't even flinch when I called on my way home and told him I got EE's. His response? "Oh Cool!". I just might make an accomplice of him yet ;). I took pictures of the new chicks (that abmaddox and LTygress and I didn't even fight over), but I have a sace issue with the program I use to get them from my phone to the computer so I'll work on that when I get back. I have to go secure the farm as best I can from tonight's/tomorrow morning's weather :(. Of course I have two rabbit does due to kindle tonight; their last litters were due when we had those 5 degree temps! I'll catch up when I get back :)

They stay on our property at all times. animal control said we had to put them in a pen or tie them up. we put them up after my husband got home from work. we had 9 that free ranged

@GAFarmGirl87 I think they probably do okay confined. There are threads on BYC about them. I'm going to have them confined most of the time because we have too many predators in my neck of the woods.
