YO GEORGIANS! :)

If not for the fact that you have them on a cake, then DEFINITELY for the fact that you have some left over after putting them on the cake, HAHA!

I meant birthday candles to use on an egg that may or may not hatch.

How many days before you can see something (even a hint) going on in chicken eggs? I mean in ducks it's obvious by four or five.. I figure, chicks take less time so is it sooner?

At day 5, we were able to see veining. At day 7, we could see some movement.

I'm just sick this morning. After maintaining perfect temps since setting the eggs 8 days ago, I took time to weigh, candle, and mark air cells last night. So the incubator cooled a bit. Then at 4am, the power went out and was out until 10:15! We took it out to my van and plugged it in at 9, but when I checked at 7, it was down to 70 degrees.

I hope I don't lose my babies :( This is my first batch and they looked SO good last night!

In white eggs I can see the outline of the blood supply around day two or three.
