YO GEORGIANS! :)

Lav copper Marans roo. Not mine but I am getting some eggs Wednesday.
Where you getting the eggs from. What make up the LAV Copper Marans?

Jasper TSC says they have austrolorps and brahmas, along with cornish cross and "red pullets".

Canton (Cumming Hwy) is out, but they have an order at the post office that they are going to get right now. No idea on breeds. I'll check again later :)

Hey, whose good with chicken genetics. As in, what the crap am I going to get if a make certain color crosses within a breed?
I'm not good with it, myself. But I am pretty handy with that chicken calculator site that I mentioned before. What colors are you crossing?

p,s. I did get a slap on the hand for my over eagerness from a moderator. Interesting to point out that Georgia was the only state thread that was so negative?
We'd rather just speak our minds in a way where you'll KNOW our opinions, instead of running to the moderators in secret. It's a southern thing.

McDonough TSC has light brahmas, black "pullets" (which are black australorps), red "pullets" (which are buff orpingtons), and cornish rocks.

I uh... can't say for CERTAIN that I got my light brahmas from there just now, but... you know... things happen.... that we may or may not know about...

I KNEW NOT TO GO THERE WHEN I NEEDED CHICK FEED!

Are you SURE the "red pullets" are BO? I assumed they were sex links. If they are BO, I may have to go grab some... But I don't really need six.

I called the Canton - Hickory Flat location and they have the same - light brahmas, black australorps, red pullets, and cornish rock. I was considering light brahmas at one point... TOO MANY CHICKENS! What is wrong with me? I'm going to be overrun! Where will I put them all? LOL

I need to pick up chick starter though... LOL 6 doesn't sound like a lot until you consider that I may have 60 or so over the next two weeks, before buying any at TSC!
