YO GEORGIANS! :)

I set the eggies from ammadenabler in the 14th so they should be coming along soon.  Silkies and a few I-havent-a-clues.  Then Marans should be popping out here and there until the Pekins.  Then more Marans while waiting for the Mallards.  Then there might be another Marans or 8.  BLRW in all of that somewhere, too.
DANG. I've gotta get more eggs! I need more enabling!!

Y'all would've gotten a huge kick out of seeing my hubby's face yesterday listening to me tell my uncle what all I'm hatching.

"Silkies?? (Yes).. Where did you get silkies?? (GAM delivered them).. When did you get those? (Last weekend).. Where was I? (Well I hid them from you soo...)

:lau His expression was priceless. (Next came the trip to TSC and him springing for the big brooder. LMBO!!)

I was just happy to see you remembered my birthday and thought enough to mention it.

I don't drink so putting alcohol in me would be bad.

I took stock of all the things I need to pay for soon and put the last 900 feet of fencing on hold for now.  I am going to have to hire someone to put the fence up.  I just simply don't have time.

We celebrate birthday weeks in our family because we get so busy. Sounds like this could be a birthday month.

I tilled a garden spot for GAM.  I dug up worms for the chickens.  I raked out the crap in the chicken coop.  I walked across the road to fetch the chicken that had crossed said road.  I don't know why he did it so don't ask.

Da** it, you ruined my joke!

I went to TSC for various stuff, managed to avoid bringing home more animals, delivered my nieces and nephews to my sister for a birthday party, raked the muck out of the chicken pen, put lime down in the pen, covered that with pine shavings, emptied mulch, sticks, rocks, and old straw out of nest boxes, rinsed them down and lined them with fresh hay and clean golf balls, took the broken legs off of the salvaged coop my sister got, removed several nails and measured the two spots where it will need plywood added, fixed my mom's computer, and chopped down those GOT DA** THORN VINES behind the fricking silkie pen that keep reaching out and grabbing my shoulder. Plus my own room cleaning, candling goose eggs (can't see anything yet) and BLRW eggs I got from abmaddox, and laundry so I can return to work tomorrow after my one day off.

Nice! You'll sleep well tonight!

I can't wait to see goose candling pics. You'll be able to see for days in those monsters I bet!

And as I am getting through the next two weeks or so of hatching I'll be expecting to be inundated any time with 3 dozen duck eggs and 1 dozen goose eggs, or more.
