YO GEORGIANS! :)

I'm getting ready to go candle some eggs and put them into lockdown!

I still have 31 chicks, but that second dorking is still looking really weak. I did give it some agave nectar earlier and just gave it some honey water. Bummed because that was the breed I was most looking forward to. I have two others that are looking good - but who knows if my boy was the one who already died? :-/

Went to local TSC (Canton/Cumming Hwy) and they only have Plymouth Rocks and Cornish X chicks in stock. They got them in yesterday.

:weee :weee DH came home from work today and went right to the kitchen window. Were are the chickens? Why aren't they out? Are they ok? How come they stay in the coop all the time? Have you got eggs yet? Can we eat them? :weee :weee hurry, everyone, bring me spare chickens til I can get the chicks!!!!!!! :P

Where do they have Farm swaps? They sound like a lot of fun.

I REALLY wish USPS would update where the heck my Chicks are. They haven't updated since 8PM last night when they left Cleveland. It's been SO cold today, I hope they are ok.
If it isn't being updated, it's USUALLY because they are on a flight to get to your town. HOWEVER, that should only last about one night. The fact that they aren't updating it again means it COULD be likely that they are sitting on a truck. But HOPEFULLY that isn't the case. HOPEFULLY they are just sitting in a processing center and haven't been through the sorting machines yet.
