You bad egg mommy!! Shame on you.
Hehe. I honestly think it's more due to my not wanting to disrupt my temp before leaving for work than anything.

The whole idea of lockdown has always made me laugh. "Don't open the incubator, turn the temp down, humidity up, and stop turning the eggs!"
Okay momma hen, listen. This is how we figured out you'll get the best hatch rate, okay? So during the last three days of sitting on your eggs, you can't get up to eat, because that's like opening the incubator. And make sure you cool your body down, and somehow get more moisture under that belly. Oh, and STOP ADJUSTING THE **** EGGS! They can not be turned anymore, you hear me?!?

I have a phoenix you might be able to borrow for a short while for breeding. He's kinda desperate right now, but doesn't have any hens of his own. The other roosters won't let him get near any of their hens!
I'll need him back after I get the phoenix pullets in, and they start growing old enough for him to breed with. But they won't even arrive until April 7th.
