Mainly I need to stay busy and this is just one thing I thought would be cool. I can sell the eggs to coworkers and have a few lower maintenance pets that contribute more than just pooping in the yard and licking me in the face.

We have rabbits, chickens, ducks and turkeys on 2acres.

I would love to move there! One of the very best areas in South Georgia! The crime rate is super low too, probably the lowest in GA other than the northern counties.

I don't know about that. A friend of mine lives in Brantley County and she says there's a huge drug issue down there.
 


There is a picture of my coop.

I put a hardware cloth bottom in it. The protruding thing under the coop is a drawer I made to catch the poop as it falls down through the hardware cloth. Hopefully it works.
