Those of you with ducks...do you brood them differently than chicks? Do you feed them the same chick starter?

Like Robo said, just the regular starter, NOT the medicated.

As for brooding, pretty much the same except with ducklings you clean up after them 27,000,000,000 times per day.

So last night I went ahead and taped(vet wrap) my tiny chicks curly old lady wrinkly toes. Ain't she cute!


I also force fed her some grogel. The other chicks were interested in her feet when I put her in the brooder for the night and pecked at her feet a little but realized they couldn't eat it and left her alone.

Hmm...I appear to be too early for the evening check-in. Either that, or we all had really active days and are all trying not to fall asleep in front of the computer . I had a good day at the rabbit show with my daughter and @abmaddox, and won an auction for a cute new bunny! I also picked up a few supplies, and furthered my bunny plans. Quite a productive day! I still have to catch up on the thread, but I think we've gained a few more new folks, and some of us have acquired yet more birds. Fun times! Welcome new peeps

This is absolutely adorable! I'm trying not to let the 19 yr. old see it, or she'll be making all of my chicks "shoes" and putting it on Pinterest, lol!
