YO GEORGIANS! :)

Yup, just cupcake liners, cut a whole in the bottom. We put them on over the chicks head and they wiggle/dance/flap until their wings are over them. Course with the chicks being so big (about 4 weeks) some of the cups got broken. It was just a little fun. (A dear friend died yesterday and their is a bunch of us who knew her just trying to get any silly distraction that we can to make each other smile)

:hugs So sorry to hear about your friend.

Here is the new brooder I threw together after an exhausting day of roofing. Ugg went out this morning and they are doing great!! That room is not climate controlled so they will get acclimated to outside weather pretty quick. They are three weeks old aprox.

That's a nice setup! :thumbsup

I just moved my 3wk old chicks to a room next to the outbuilding. It's not climate controlled either. I plan to move them outside little by little as it gets warmer, & permanently in about 3 wks. My new chicks are in the laundry room now. They will go to the outdoor room in 3 wks.

Now I just have to figure out what to do with the chicks that will be hatching next Sunday/ Monday...

My homemade summer sausage came out perfect and so much cheaper than store bought and I know exactly what's in it !!! :D beer can is only to show size, no beer is in my sausage!!
