Awesome I hope so here! Today is day 24 for them, day 25 for the LF. I have no idea how it will turn out aside from these two. Hubby got me all excited last night saying he bet I'd wake up to six hatched- LOL! Notsomuch.

I have named my Brahma. It'll be "Pat".. Born on SP Day, and that way it won't matter if it turns out to be roo or pullet!

Hey when these do come out of the bator, do they need to go on towels first or will they be good on shavings?

I forgot I usually start my ducks on towels, but then again they're always out of the bator way earlier than this too.

I just put mine on shavings. I use a pretty thick layer so they don't slip'n'slide on the bottom of the tote.

Not since Sunday and I'm NOT touching them! My bator was not holding humidity AT ALL so I had to tape the edges, window seams, etc. so they're quite literally, locked down. LOL

Plus if I did open it, I'm out of tape to fix it back.
I can see now my wrong-end Marans is also still breathing, or appears to be.

How long does it take these suckers to dry off anyway?

That may be what I end up doing. The first hatch I did in the still air, it held humidity TOO well. This time I'm getting zero condensation on my windows and it doesn't really feel moist inside. But with the humidity from all this rain, I may not be able to tell that it's actually humid in there.
