YO GEORGIANS! :)

My 2 new babies (I almost got killed for getting!) Speckled Sussex (Freckles) on left and EE (Emma) on right. I have been waiting a long time to find an EE with her coloring. She is growing out white with orange tips. I have admired other EEs like this one but haven't found one until now. Risked DH's anger to get her! (He's not really all that mad....just acts like that to keep me in check! Honestly, I would probably have a 100 chickens if he didn't hold me on a reign! He actually spoils them rotten!) I just love them all!
They are beautiful!! Congrats!! Oh- and I TOTALLY understand about your dh. ;) Mine is the exact same. Supportive to a point, has built me some sweet stuff for the chickens.. But I've nicknamed him my "Voice of Reason" :) I sure do love 'im though. :love

The local feed store just got chicks in. I was worried I would be tempted to buy some when I saw them but NOPE!

They were cute however I was just so darn glad my 4 are just now old enough to go out to their coop! I had NO desire to get babies and start the brooder thing all over again!

I thought I would ask here before putting them on craigslist!

Would anyone like 7 hatching eggs, now, for free. mix of Bantam Cochin and Silver Lakenvelders?

Got them today for the easter hatch-along and can't fit these in the bator!

I am DH free however I think I can credit one of my dogs, the crazy Coonhound, for keeping me from even THINKING about buying more chicks!

For the last month I have had to listen to him holler and carry on because they were in the house, I am finally able to get some peace now that they are outside. I guess that hyper rescued Coonhound reigns me in! He makes it too darn painful to even consider more (until maybe next year).
