Oh god yes. On warmer days, mine LOVE getting out in the sun and spreading their wings!
Yesterday though, was dirt-bath day. They all "spread their wings" in the driest sandiest dirt they could find. I'm just glad it wasn't mud!
I hate when they dust bathe in mud!!! My light brahmas used to do that and they never were white, they were always tinted orange![]()
Thank you!Welcome!!![]()
Haha, everyone always says cats don't roll in dirt, I have 3 that go against that!I live in riverbottoms, so we have LOTS of sand in the yard. No Georgia red clay here. My girls do look so funny after their dust bath though, and so do my cats![]()
Oh my female tabby/tort cross definitely does. She is always coming in with dirt, leaves, and pieces of pine straw on her back. If I pet her when she first comes inside, I always get a handful of dirt in my hand.Haha, everyone always says cats don't roll in dirt, I have 3 that go against that!
If you look at the ear on the right - her left - you see where it actually turns into black and orange SPOTS, not stripes. And the orange patch on her back is repeated a few more times across her body.
