Okay, so, MORNING EVERYONE!

Getting ready for work again. All chicks are tucked away sleeping in their brooders. Ducklings and Goslings went outside last night into the small, former silkie coop. Now if I can just get the nieces and nephews to clean out that horrible reeking tank they were in, and get the smell of all of that poop out of this d*mn house! I don't understand how these people can live like that! (And I told them ducks smelled bad...)

ANYWAY, I still haven't been able to look in to McMurray chicks and see what I want to get yet. @Flowerbh , I'll let you know if I get more Polish though.

How are the southside people doing on saving eggs for the school? I'm feeling pretty pathetic with my number.

By the way, my "free exotic" chick from McMurray has a barred gene. I basically counted too many black chicks with white dots on their heads when counting up the Cuckoo Marans and Barred Rocks. Who knows what they threw in. Barred rock, cuckoo maran, or dominique?

I haven't checked combs yet. No time, really.

I did forget to mention this yesterday, too. My grow-with-me goose diaper came in! Not the fabric I wanted, but no worries, I got it in time!

The little bantam Serama on the right is the one I took to my daughter in Va. Her Serama on the left was lonely. They are enjoying a playtime outside.

Note to self - do not put ducklings in the house

I have ten eggs so far; because I'm not including two Narragansett eggs. I still have to go collect eggs, so that will move up slightly.

Just so that you're aware, I am living vicariously through your photos of baby waterfowl and hatching/new chicks. So keep up the reports
I'm sure I'll have fun on my family trip, but it will be nice to get going on my own ducks etc.
