Sevin dust is ok to use on the bird, but i have no clue about eating eggs afterward. I don't think most manufacturers take the extra trouble to test for safety of eggs, so that info is usually not available. Because I have kidney and liver issues, I generally toss the eggs for a week just to be sure, if i ever have to use something chemical on or near my birds. Don't feel horrible; this is animal keeping. Crap happens
. You can feel horrible when you notice an issue with your critters, but do nothing.
